Wellness Republic is a movement studio and wellness club bringing together Pilates, recovery, contrast therapy, IV therapy, and community under one roof.

We are building a team of exceptional Reformer Pilates Instructors to deliver thoughtful, challenging, and highly consistent experiences in our dedicated Reformer Studio.

We are looking for instructors who understand that exceptional Reformer Pilates combines intelligent programming, technical precision, confident coaching, and genuine human connection.

Our instructors should be able to challenge experienced members while making newer members feel supported, capable, and welcome.

The Role

As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will lead group Reformer classes that reflect Wellness Republic’s standards for movement quality, hospitality, and member experience.

You will be responsible for programming and delivering safe, effective, and engaging classes while creating a studio environment members look forward to returning to.

Key Responsibilities

Class Experience

  • Deliver high-quality group Reformer Pilates classes.
  • Develop intelligent, balanced, and progressive class programming.
  • Provide clear and concise verbal cueing, demonstrations, corrections, modifications, and progressions.
  • Confidently coach members with different abilities and levels of Reformer experience within the same class.
  • Maintain strong class flow while prioritizing form, control, alignment, and safety.
  • Create challenging experiences without sacrificing movement quality.
  • Use music and pacing intentionally to complement the class experience.

Member Experience

  • Welcome and connect with members before and after class.
  • Learn member names and help foster a strong studio community.
  • Provide additional guidance to members who are new to Reformer Pilates.
  • Create an inclusive environment where members feel both challenged and supported.
  • Maintain awareness of injuries, limitations, and member needs within the appropriate scope of practice.

Equipment & Studio Standards

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Reformer setup, springs, straps, accessories, and safe equipment use.
  • Ensure members understand equipment adjustments and transitions.
  • Arrive prepared and with sufficient time to welcome members and prepare the studio.
  • Begin and end classes on time.
  • Support proper Reformer resets and studio transitions between classes.
  • Identify and report equipment, maintenance, safety, or member concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Desk & Member Experience team to ensure a seamless member journey.

What We’re Looking For

  • Recognized comprehensive or Reformer Pilates certification.
  • Previous group Reformer teaching experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Pilates principles, biomechanics, alignment, and movement progression.
  • Excellent verbal cueing and ability to coach without relying heavily on demonstrations.
  • Ability to observe a room and provide appropriate corrections while maintaining class flow.
  • Confident, composed, and engaging teaching presence.
  • Strong programming skills and ability to create variety while maintaining consistency and purpose.
  • Comfortable working with both newer and experienced Reformer clients.
  • Genuine interest in movement, wellness, recovery, and continued education.
  • Reliable, professional, and receptive to coaching and feedback.
  • Current CPR/AED certification is preferred.

Availability

We are seeking instructors across:

  • Early mornings
  • Daytime
  • Evenings
  • Weekends

Consistent weekly availability is strongly preferred.
